Bordeaux and Burgundy in France are synonymous with the production of excellent quality red blends and Chardonnay but, there are some big contenders from the New World stepping up to the plate in challenging expectations around this! This tasting sees wines from France go head to head with those from South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and California. Let’s see which country will be victorious!

All our tasting packages are based on a per person basis meaning the bigger the group, the more competitive prices we can offer! They range from £20 per person upwards. Please contact us for pricing for each package

In Person Tasting Details

You will learn about the techniques of smelling wine and how to taste wine.

We’ll discuss the regions and countries plus grape varieties of each wine and how these factors influence the wine. You will drink delicious wine in the comfort of your own home or workplace and learn in a relaxed and informal environment.

By the end of the tasting you will be armed with so much knowledge that you will feel much more confident next time you choose a wine in the shops or at a restaurant!

On the Day of the Tasting

  • We will arrive with the tasting packs, wine glasses and printed tasting notes

  • Please have a table or area clear and ready for the tasting plus water jugs and glasses for water

  • Nibbles to match the wines such as cheese, crackers and charcuterie meats will also be provided as part of the tasting event (please advise in advance of any dietary restrictions or allergies)

  • Each tasting consists of four different wines to be tasted. The wine left at the end of the tasting is yours to keep and enjoy
